We offer semen freezing, and on site storage of frozen semen.

 

If you are interested in storing frozen semen with us, please call 267-253-9077 or email avrsreception@gmail.com to coordinate shipment to our office and we will be happy to assist in domestic shipment.

To freeze semen be prepared with the following information: 

• A negative brucellosis test. If you do not have a completed negative test from the last six months we will complete a test before collection.
   

• Relevant medical paperwork (example: medical records, vaccination records, etc.)
   

• Minimum breed specific health testing. If you are unsure of what the minimum tests for your breed are, please schedule a reproduction consult appointment with us to discuss necessary steps before you pursue reproductive care. You can find out more by clicking here.
   

• AKC DNA profile. If you have not completed an AKC DNA profile you can find out more by clicking here.
   

• Please let our staff know at the time of making the appointment if your dog is able to be safely handled for collection, and has been collected before. 
   

• We will try to coordinate a teaser for your appointment (an in season girl), but you are welcome to bring your own teaser.
