All breeding cycles for new and established patients will start with an ovulation timing appointment. Please call us at 267-253-9077 on the first day of the bitch's heat cycle so we can schedule your initial ovulation timing appointment. The initial ovulation timing visit includes a full physical exam, vaginal exam, and any pre-breeding blood work that might be needed. Please note, we do not run progesterone tests without this initial timing appointment, and an initial timing appointment is required for each new breeding cycle even if your patient has had a breeding with Dr. Morgan before. On a case by case basis, we will offer remote progesterone interpretation to time breeding if you are unable to come in for progesterone testing with us.

We offer progesterone testing with our in house machine for same day progesterone testing results. 

We will work with you to determine the optimal time for breeding based on progesterone and LH testing. 

How to schedule:
Please call us at 267-253-9077 on the first day of your dog's heat cycle so we can work with you to appropriately schedule the appointment. If you do not call on day one, we will do our best to time the breeding, but we often cannot accommodate same day appointments due to scheduling demand. 

For an initial ovulation timing appointment please be prepared with the following information: 

• Relevant medical records (ex: medical records, vaccination record, etc.)
